Weight Training at Outdoor Gyms

Gym memberships can be quite expensive, so why not use the outdoor gyms that are available? Here you can find the most necessary equipment for a really good workout with both strength- and cardio training. Do you have an outdoor gym near you? Why not jog there, do some strength exercises and then jog back home? A complete workout that doesn’t need to take that long.

Circuit Training

Circuit training is a great exercise form since you can vary it in so many different ways. Put together some exercises (some cardio training exercises and some strength training exercises), make a playlist with music you like and bring your friends to the nearest park and do some circuits together! Sweaty and fun - and a great way to hang out with your friends.

Park Bench Training

Can you get a good workout with just a park bench as a tool? Yes! There are many exercises that can be done with the help of a bench: squats, push-ups, dips, step-ups, jumping, hip thrusters… with a quick Google search you can put together a couple of exercises that will make a fun and sweaty workout. Why not stop to do a few exercises on a park bench while you’re out power walking?

Jumping rope is a cheap and easy exercise tool that everyone should have. Do you remember how sweaty and tired you became by skipping as a child? That’s because skipping is an incredibly good exercise form where you really get your heart rate up. At the same time, this type of exercise is very fun and you’ll easily forget that you’re actually working out. If you don’t have a jumping rope, we highly recommend you getting one for fall. Why not have skipping as one of the exercises in your circuit training?
